This blog aims to show some issues found during research or work that I may be doing. It started during my participation on the Google Summer of Code 2009, for the NUI Group mentoring organization, in which I was mentored by Laurence Muller, with Seth Sandler as co-mentor for the project called CCV Hand.
It also contains some research that was done during my time at the Embedded Systems and Pervasive Computing Lab, and the eROBOTICA project at the Federal University of Campina Grande ( Universidade Federal de Campina Grande).
Right now, as I am working mainly with Embedded Linux and ARM(mostly boards from Technologic Systems and FriendlyARM, planning to go on Beagle too), most of the posts may be related to that , but as much as possible that are going to be posts related to: Multi-touch, NUI, Robotics, Simultaneous Localization and Mapping – Slam (EKF SLam, FastSlam, etc…), Filters (Kalman Filters, Particle Filters, …), Computer Vision(OpenCV, etc..) , Programming(C, C++, Python), Electronics, Linux distros(Emdebian, debian, ubuntu…),personal interests(once in a while some hits about soccer, games, Formula One, piano, guitar, squash, …).
Concerning the technical aspects most of the contents are going to be based on description, on which I will try to provide source code, or necessary files(zipped content, images, schematics, etc…), to anyone be able to reproduce that topic at Home,
