Pseudo Hand-Tracking

Still having problems to feed my Pseudo-Hand Tracking system. I will be trying to be using more videos, since our setup (mt hardware) is not currently working here in the lab.

This is the most simple part of the implementation, however it is going to be delayed at least a week because of some incoherences with the inputs to generate the blog movement. That’s why I will be needing those videos from different setups.

I didn’t know OpenFrameworks quite well actually before starting this little “fun application”, however it is becoming quite amazing to work with. If you are wanting to make something cool, that is quite a framework to try that include tons of libraries (opengl, opencv, etc…) and is really simple to start programming with.  (http://www.openframeworks.cc).

The week has been quite confuse with lots of tests and stuff at the UNI, but with the holidays(after wednesday) this week I can definitely try to get back in my schedule and start blogging more often. :D

This post is not “directly” related to my project, but it is really great to mention that the First Edition of the NUI Group Community Book is ready to be downloaded. This work is a great effort from members of the NUI Group to spread the technology and to share their knowledge on almost every topic related to that.

Great Work, guys!
